2011 IVCA Annual Awards Dinner presented by Kirkland & Ellis LLP
The IVCA is pleased to announce this year's Awardees:
Brian P. Simmons, CHS Capital, will receive the Stanley C. Golder Award. The Golder Award, acknowledges individuals who have made profound and lasting contributions to the private equity industry in Illinois.
Scott F. Meadow, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, will receive the Richard J. Daley Award. The Daley Medal acknowledges a single individual who has given direct and extraordinary support to the State of Illinois by participating in or being an advocate for the venture capital and private equity industry.

The Portfolio Company of the Year Awards are recognize outstanding IL companies based on the following criteria :

• Is/Was VC or PE backed, had a realized liquidity event in the last 5 years and the exit was successful for investors (and must share investor returns information - not for publication); company is located in Illinois
• Recognizable metrics of success

o Dramatic increase in employment
o Dramatic increases in top/bottom line
o Unique and lasting innovation
o Speed to achieve key milestones
o Dramatic increase in employment
