Introduction to Hybra-Drive Systems

A hybrid vehicle that doubles fuel economy, maintains vehicle weight, cuts acceleration time in half, and does not need or use batteries. Today’s industrial, and commercial vehicle owners or operators want to “Go Green”. However, each of these businesses and organizations will only be environmentally responsible if they do not have to compromise on system or vehicle performance, asset return on investment and fundamental profits.

Hybra-Drive Systems (HDS) has designed, built, tested, and is now marketing, the first Hydraulic Hybrid Transmission product for commercial vehicles that simply DOES NOT COMPROMISE. This unique hybrid system has generated early product revenue from the U.S, Department of Defense and most recently helped Hybra-Drive win the initial orders with UPS, FedEx and Purolator Carrier. The U.S. Congress, AT&T, Sprint, Elgin Sweeper, AM General and others are either evaluating or in partnership discussions to acquire Hybra-Drive technologies. Commercial and governmental entities like these realize there are cost-exasperating problems and operational penalties from current vehicle propulsion systems and hybrid electric systems. Every HDS target market understands the importance of making money while adopting clean technologies. The HDS answer to these market demands is the Hybrid Hydraulic Power Train (HDS-HHPT), which is protected by 2 issued patents and 12 pending patents. The HDS-HHPT product offers:

· A tested +200% Improvement in Fuel Economy,

· A tested +50% Increase in Vehicle Performance,

· Zero Curb Weight Increase,

· Zero Hazardous Materials,

· Retrofit Potential into Current Vehicles,

· Simple and Inexpensive Repairs,

· A design that is easily leveraged from one vehicle platform to another,

· Reductions in vehicle Mean Time Between Failure while decreasing Mean Time To Repair, &

· 100 Kilowatts of Exportable Power, which is not possible in current commercial vehicle technologies. This exportable power is critical for in-the-field military mini-grid operations, or commercial applications that include: Construction sites without power, refuse systems that compact or shred waste and street sweeper applications that require secondary engines (soon to be rendered EPA non-complaint).

Two additional stand-alone HDS patented products have been instrumental in bringing the HDS-HHPT to market. The Variable Displacement Gear Pump (HDS-VDGP), a one-of-its-kind pump combining the strength of a gear pump and the positive variable displacement of a piston or vane pump, with revenue expected by 4th Quarter, 2008; and a Fluid Power Accumulator System (HDS-FPAS), the lightest and most power dense hydraulic pressure storage vessel available.

The HDS management team with 125+ years of relevant industry experience, understands these markets, has raised over $1.6 million in early-stage funds and is post-revenue with products that are market driven, deliver risk free solutions, are simple to manufacture, and are fully protected by interlinking patents.
