Robert “Bob” Fealy
President, The Duchossois Group and

Mr. Fealy is President of The Duchossois Group, overseeing a group of companies that sells many leading brands of consumer and commercial products and solutions, including residential garage and commercial door operators, motion-activated lighting, door chimes, audio-visual mounting products, access control systems, building and room automation, and digital media switching and distribution solutions. The Duchossois Group’s businesses operate in over 40 countries and employ 6,000 individuals worldwide. In 1999, Mr. Fealy founded Duchossois Technology Partners. Since its founding, DTEC has made direct investments in over two dozen early-stage technology start-up companies and, through its fund of funds operation, invested in a wide array of venture capital and private equity funds.

Mr. Fealy’s entrepreneurial activities began in the mid-1980’s when he co-founded Chicago’s first Chinese-American bank, New Asia Bancorp. Over the next 20 years, NAB became the largest bank serving Chicago’s Chinese community, leading to its sale to Cathay General in 2006. Mr. Fealy now serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMX Corporation, Milestone AV Technologies and Brivo Systems, and serves as a director of The Duchossois Group, The Chamberlain Group, Pella Corporation, Radeum, Inc. and Churchill Downs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHDN), where he sits on the Executive and Strategy Committees.

Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Illinois Innovation Accelerator Fund. Mr. Fealy also was a founding board member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association, serves as Treasurer of IVCA’s Political Action Committee, and formerly was Chair of the Association’s Membership Committee. He is an angel investor, and is a mentor and investor in Excelerate!, the Chicago-based boot camp for start-ups.

Prior to joining Duchossois, Mr. Fealy was a senior executive of Cummins Engine Company, the world’s premier manufacturer of diesel engines and power systems. He last served as Vice President-Business Strategy, where he led the Company’s acquisition, business development and investor relations activities, and established alliances with leading industrial and transportation equipment companies worldwide.

Mr. Fealy is a 1973 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Business and serves as a Trustee of the University of Cincinnati Foundation, Co-Chair of the $1 Billion “Proudly Cincinnati” Capital Campaign, and member of the College of Business Advisory Council. In 2009, Mr. Fealy was awarded the highest honor bestowed by the College of Business, the Carl H. Lindner Award For Outstanding Business Achievement. He and his wife Rose have established the Fealy Endowment for Entrepreneurship and the Bearcat Bridge Fund, which grants funding to facilitate the launch of new companies by UC’s College of Business students.

In addition to his involvement in various not-for-profit and community groups, Mr. Fealy is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Executives’ Club of Chicago and the National Venture Capital Association.
